FL Surgeon Gen. letter on Manatee Bay Elementary Measles

Following a measles outbreak at a Broward elementary school, Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo on Feb. 20 issued guidance allowing parents to decide whether their child should stay home or return to class. The guidance is at odds with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which recommends kids who are not vaccinated for measles stay home up to 21 days after exposure.
